Rudy :: Orange County Pet Photography

A couple of Sundays ago I had the pleasure of doing a shoot with Rudy, Jane and Eddie in the Los Rio Historic District in San Juan Capistrano, one of my favorite places to shoot. Rudy is a Lab/Pyrenees mix and when I first met her I was totally surprised by her size - she is much taller than I expected! Well now I'm definitely a fan of this mix, because she is just gorgeous and so smart!

Jane and Eddie showed me one of Rudy's tricks. First she bows, then they put a treat on her paw and she waits patiently to eat it until she is given the OK. But the cutest thing was that Rudy turned her head and looked away from the treat so she didn't tempt herself to eat it! The look on her face was priceless and I'm SO glad I caught a picture of it. 

I'm thrilled to have gotten to know Rudy, Jane and Eddie who are so awesome! Here are some of my favorites from the afternoon and of course I had to include the one of Rudy with her treat!

Wow! Rudy is beautiful. Love the first shot where she shows such self control.
